In the economic sphere, according to the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, according to the commodity structure of Ukraine's foreign trade in 2019 (January-September), exports from Ukraine to Guyana amounted to 1.8 million USD, imports 72 million USD, and for the same period in 2020, exports amounted to 2.9 million USD. (growth by 59.2%), imports $ 14.3 million USD (down 80.2%). Thus, the turnover for 10 months of 2020 amounted to 17.2 million USD. The structure of exports was dominated by fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin (71.8%) and ferrous metals (11.4%), milk and dairy products, poultry eggs; natural honey (7.5%), vegetables and flour (7.2%). The main item of Guyanese imports to Ukraine were ores, slag and ash (99.4%). Ukraine also imported a small amount of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages (0.6%). The negative balance of trade amounted to 11.4 million USD. No direct investment from Guyana to Ukraine's economy has been recorded.
