On June 20, 2014 a phone conversation between Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin and Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier was held. The Head of the German Foreign Ministry congratulated Pavlo Klimkin on his appointment and expressed the Federal Government’ support to the European integration of Ukraine.

Pavlo Klimkin informed Frank-Walter Steinmeier about the key points of the Presidential peaceful plan on settlement in the eastern regions of Ukraine and completing the signing procedure of the Association Agreement with the EU.

The Parties agreed bilateral agenda of the Ukraine-Germany dialogue on all the range of issues of mutual interest.
