President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden.

In the course of the conversation, the U.S. Vice President expressed condolences to the President of Ukraine over the death of 9 servicemen caused by the shelling of the helicopter near Sloviansk.

In his turn, the Ukrainian President strongly condemned the given accident and the shelling by terrorists constantly taking place since unilateral proclamation of ceasefire by Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine and the U.S. Vice President agreed to coordinate their efforts in the time remaining until the expiration of the ceasefire to ensure the full implementation of the peace plan.
