In Strasbourg, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko held a meeting with PACE President Anne Brasseur and Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland.

The meeting took place in the premises of the PACE near which the Head of State was greeted by representatives of Ukrainian Diaspora.

Petro Poroshenko expressed gratitude for their support. He expressed belief that his first visit to Europe and to the PACE in the status of President will become an impetus for the further development of Ukraine. "I am confident that we will receive a new boost of reforms, a new evidence of European identity of Ukraine".

In support of the President, representatives of the Diaspora sang the Anthem of Ukraine.
