President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko instructed to take immediate measures on the return to Ukraine of citizen Nadiya Savchenko who had been captured by terrorists in the CTO area and illegally taken to the Russian Federation.

Particularly, the Head of State instructed the MFA and respective state bodies of Ukraine to take all possible measures on the unconditional release of Nadiya Savchenko by the Russian party.

The President instructed the MFA to appeal to the international organizations and foreign states with a demand to condemn systematic violations of rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens by the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.

Also, Petro Poroshenko called on the Prosecutor General's Office and the Security Service to hold immediate investigation of circumstances of the given incident and take necessary response measures following the results of the investigation, particularly on bringing the delinquents to responsibility in due order.
