April 7, 2016. Kyiv. The third meeting was held of Ukrainian-Chinese Subcommittee on Space Cooperation of the Commission on Cooperation between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of China.

The session was co-chaired by SSAU Administrator – Lyubomyr Sabadosh and Deputy Head of China National Space Administration Wu Yanhua. The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Zhang Xun of China to Ukraine, representatives of enterprises and organizations of Ukraine and China.

In course of meeting the Parties summed up the status of Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation program in the field of space for 2011-2015, discussed the prospects of bilateral Ukrainian-Chinese cooperation in space area and decided to promote comprehensively the development of mutually beneficial collaboration.

The Parties initialed the draft Fourth Cooperation Program for 2016-2020 years as the master document summarizing the list of projects for bilateral cooperation. Participants noted the need of holding the Subcommittee meetings at least once a year and agreed to hold the next meeting in the first half of 2017 in China.

Results of the Sub-Commission session:

- signing of the Protocol of the Third session of Ukrainian-Chinese Subcommittee on cooperation in the field of space of Ukrainian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation;

- initialing of the Program of Ukrainian-Chinese Space Cooperation for 2016-2020.
