Greco-Roman style wrestler Zhan Beleniuk added silver medal in 85 weight category to Ukraine's medal tally on monday, August 15th, at the XXXIst Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Zhan made it to the final winning over the opponents from Egypt, Bulgaria and Belarus on his way. The only opponent to stop him was Russian Davit Chakvetadze who won in very close and tough fight scoring 9 points against 2 from the Ukrainian.

Sergey Bubka, Ukraine's National Olympic Committee President, congratulated an athlete who won the medal at his first Olympics, wishing him to believe in himself and be motivated to reach new success in sport.
