The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine strongly condemns the airstrikes conducted in the northern part of Syria against civilian objects on February 15.

In Ukraine we note with deep concern that after the Russia's military interference in the Syrian conflict under cover of the combating terrorism the number of victims and injured among the civilian population of Syria including women and children highly increased.

In this regard the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stresses that indiscriminate shelling of civilian targets including schools and hospitals constitutes the violation of the international humanitarian law. We stress on the legal responsibility of everyone who commits and allows such violations.

We call on all parties of the conflict to immediately cease the fire and fully implement the provisions of UN Security Council Resolution 2254 and the recent Munich agreements.
