In the interview to CNN, President Petro Poroshenko noted that the Ukrainian economy demonstrated growth and the newly established anti-corruption system had showed its efficiency over the past year.

“In 2016, we had an economic growth. Exactly one year ago, when we had a meeting here, the creation of the anti-corruption structure was completed. And it brings the results today,” the President said.

The Head of State emphasized the importance of strong and united Europe, and Transatlantic unity, including USA, for Ukraine. “Here, in Davos we had an interesting topic for discussion about responsible leadership. To my mind, because of two irresponsible leaders – Assad and Putin, we have huge problems with global security,” Petro Poroshenko stressed. The President added that cyberattacks were a part of hybrid warfare of Russia.

The President noted the support of Ukraine by the United States over the past 2.5 years and expressed hope for the continuation of the efficient cooperation.
