President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Lubomír Zaorálek.
The Head of State thanked the three countries for supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The parties discussed the course of implementation of the Minsk agreements and developments in Donbas. They underscored the importance of compliance with the regime of the EU sanctions against Russia until full implementation of the undertaken obligations within the Minsk process and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
In the context of the European agenda, the ministers expressed support for the European integration aspirations of Ukraine. The parties commended the approval of the resolution by the European Parliament as regards abolition of visa regime for Ukrainians.
Special attention was paid to the expansion of interaction within NATO and regional cooperation with the Visegrad Group that will be presided by Hungary starting from July 1.
