The Government advocates deepening of international and economic collaboration between Ukraine and other world countries that will contribute to strengthen the national economy as well as to build a strong national State, urged Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in the course of the meeting with heads of foreign diplomatic missions, which took place today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“We highly appreciate the level of cooperation with our foreign partners, hence we welcome and support our joint efforts aimed to strengthen economic growth of Ukraine. The foreign support is a decisive and crucial step, however we intend to develop an economically strong country and it is possible to reach through strengthening of our economic cooperation, increasing of trade opportunities between the countries as well as through building the potential for relatively free trade areas”, stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
The core objective for the Government today is to ensure sustainable economic growth which is determined in the Medium-term Action Plan for 2020, pointed out Volodymyr Groysman. The Government's target is to replace economy dependent on raw materials to that basing on creation of value added. Ukraine has all the necessary set of technologies and components to enhance competitiveness, noted the Prime Minister.
In this context, the Government is working vigorously to create favourable business environment to leverage investment, the Prime Minister pointed out and called on representatives of foreign diplomatic missions to support the investment process in Ukraine.
"I assure you that we will protect every dollar, euro, hryvnia, invested in the Ukrainian economy. We will create the qualitative conditions for the activities of these companies. We are interested not in the number of investments, but in successful investment, therefore it is vital to emphasize that our task today is to ensure the investment be successful”, underscored the Prime Minister.
