On Wednesday, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko took part in measures on the occasion of student graduation in Ivan Chernyakhovsky National Defense University of Ukraine.

The Head of State congratulated officers on the completion of the course and the 100th anniversary of the beginning of training of military experts in the educational facility.

The President noted that restoration of combat capability of the Ukrainian army is a top priority for the government now. "I would like to assure that army is and will be the priority number one for the people of Ukraine, for me and for the Government," the Head of State said.

The President handed diplomas to the graduates of the University. Officers delivered a solemn oath of the graduate.

Today, 134 graduates of Ivan Chernyakhovsky National Defense University of Ukraine received Master's Degree. 16 of them finished their studies with honors; 3 graduates – with honors and gold medal.
