The Italian Foreign Minister congratulated P.Klimkin with appointment as Minister.

It was agreed to organize visit of the Minister Mogherini to Ukraine that will be the first visit of Italian Foreign Minister abroad during the Italian Presidency in the EU. The Italian side expressed readiness to further cooperate with Ukraine on the issues of European integration as well as on bilateral agenda.

Minister Klimkin expressed his sincere regret for the death of the Italian journalist A.Rokelli near Slovyansk in the Donetsk region and asked Mogherini to convey  his personal condolences to the Rokelli family. The investigation of the tragedy is still ongoing.
