French Foreign Minister congratulated Pavlo Klimkin on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and assured that France would continue supporting Ukraine. “Paris considers Ukraine's current problems as its own”, said Laurent Fabius.

Minister Klimkin informed about the main points of the peace plan suggested by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to solve the crisis in the eastern regions of Ukraine.

They agreed to meet next week in Luxembourg in the framework of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting.
