Signature of the Association Agreement with the EU will facilitate the reformation of Ukraine. It was stated by the President in his speech at the ceremony of signing the Agreement in Brussels.

"Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova are the countries that demonstrate new economic goals. But first and foremost it is freedom and democracy in the post-Soviet space that will depend on the ability of these three countries to implement necessary reforms stipulated by the Agreement," the Head of State stressed.

"By signing this Agreement, Ukraine takes enormous commitment in terms of reforms. The path of reforms will be difficult and painful but it is a basis of further successful development of Ukraine," the President noted. In this regard, Ukraine is ready to begin the implementation and fulfillment of the commitments taken. "To make it work, we are ready to proceed with ratification as soon as possible," Petro Poroshenko said.

The President also expressed hope that ratification in the EU capitals will be ensured promptly.
