President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko calls on the public to actively engage in the process of country’s reformation. It was stated by him when presenting the Strategy of Reforms – 2020 in Yuriy Fedkovych National University of Chernivtsi.
According to the President, “it is completely real” to achieve the level of reforms that will let us apply for a membership in the EU in 2020.
The Head of State noted the importance of law enforcement, judicial and land reforms.
“When people are with you, they know what you are doing. In the face of aggression there is no other way than to implement reforms,” Petro Poroshenko said.
The Head of State emphasizes that young professionals like Deputy Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman and Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Dmytro Shymkiv should implement reforms in the country.
In his turn, Dmytro Shymkiv noted that reforms “are just an instrument of achieving the result”. “We must understand where we are going. The result of the strategy of reforms should become the achievement of 21 key indicators,” he added.
Volodymyr Groysman emphasized: “It is vitally important for us to be willing to change the way we lived recently. We haven’t managed to implement any reforms in 20 years. It is a challenge for all of us. Now there is a chance to change everything. Our team has a political will”.
