The President emphasized that the support Ukraine had received in Bratislava was vitally essential. "All the countries stated: we are dealing with aggression. We must demonstrate unity of the entire Europe and solidarity with Ukraine in the issues of security and economy. I have felt this solidarity and support in Bratislava," the Head of State said and expressed gratitude for such a "firm and clear position".

He also expressed content with "the style of conversation": specific support was discussed. "It was stated: we will provide assistance where it is required. This is what Ukraine needs today," the President stressed.

The main topic discussed at the meeting is the issue of security. "It is the war for freedom and democracy of the entire EU," the President said.

In his turn, President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski expressed gratitude to the President of Slovakia for inviting the Ukrainian President to the meeting of the Visegrad Group. President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman noted that he would have voted for the Block of Petro Poroshenko in the parliamentary elections if he had been the Ukrainian citizen. "I believe that President Poroshenko will go down in history as President of Peace," he stressed.

President of Slovakia Andrej Kiska emphasized that all the countries of the Visegrad Group supported Ukraine and that the sanctions were necessary when the dialogue was inefficient.
