President Petro Poroshenko had a meeting with heads of diplomatic missions of G7 countries that work in Ukraine.
In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed the electoral process in Ukraine and emphasized the need for ensuring free and fair elections.
The interlocutors also discussed the fulfillment of the Minsk agreements and the progress of reforms in Ukraine, particularly judicial, constitutional and anti-corruption reforms.
The Head of State thanked the ambassadors their governments and nations for a powerful support and solidarity with Ukraine in its struggle for independence and territorial integrity. Herewith the President underlined the importance of preserving unity and coordinated position of the entire pro-Ukrainian global coalition.
G7 Ambassadors congratulated Ukraine on being elected non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
