On June 19, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko had a phone conversation with U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden.

The parties shared opinions on the progress of implementation of the Ukrainian President's peaceful plan. Herewith, Joseph Biden strongly supported persistent efforts of Petro Poroshenko in restoring peace and order in the east of Ukraine.

The Vice President of the United States expressed sincere condolences over the death of Ukrainian servicemen in the course of the counterterrorist operation.
