On October 8, 2014 the presentation of economic and investment potential of Ternopil Region was held in the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. 

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine for the European Integration O.Zerkal, Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine R.Koshulynskyi, Head of the Ternopil Regional State Administration O.Syrotiuk, Head of the Ternopil Regional Council V.Hominec, Heads of Diplomatic missions of foreign States accredited in Ukraine, members of the International Trade-Club in Ukraine and more than 30 representatives of foreign companies have participated in this event.

The economic potential of Ternopil Region and a number of investment projects, as well as perspective vectors of cooperation and examples of success of foreign companies in this region were presented during the meeting.  

In his speech Deputy Minister O.Zerkal emphasized the readiness to provide support to the Regions of Ukraine in popularization of their favorable investment potential and effective finding of foreign business partners for joint projects.

During the meeting the Agreement on Cooperation between the Ternopil Regional State Administration and the ICC Ukraine as well as the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Ternopil Regional Administration and the European Economic Chamber of Trade, Commerce and Industry in Ukraine were signed.
